Family Tradition
Since 1920
Our musical legacy roots back to our great-grandfather, Ascensión González, who began playing the harp in Jalisco in the year 1920 followed by our virtuoso grandfather, Atanasio González, who was self-taught in the musical styles of mariachi. He ingrained the love and appreciation of traditional Mexican music to his children by teaching them to play various instruments, thus initiating Mariachi Continental de Mexico. Our mariachi has carried on through history being formed by family members and friends. The family legacy continues to reinvent itself sharing culture, tradition, love and happiness to many families.
Mission
Mariachi Continental de Mexico combines tradition and experience with energy and innovation. Being a group who loves and admires Mexican culture and tradition, our objective is to share our traditional music, extensive repertoire and create memorable moments with those whom hire us for their special events.

To provide a service which will be distinguished by its quality in music, extensive repertoire and impeccable presentation to exceed all expectations of our clients throughout the San Diego region and Tijuana.
